In 2019 we are raising funds and collecting donations to sponsor a family in a northern community. Through Helping Our Northern Neighbours, an organization started in 2014 after it was realized the cost of living in a northern community was astronomical, we helped to supplement a family’s income by providing basic necessities including clothing, food, and hygiene products.
In 2018 we again raised funds for the Canadian Red Cross with special attention to their disaster relief and reconstruction efforts in the wake of the Civil War in Yemen, the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia, and the tornadoes in Ottawa-Gatineau.
